New CEO at Advance Northumberland
Economic regeneration and development company, Advance Northumberland, has now welcomed Steven Harrison as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Steven is to lead the business, which is based in Ashington, following the recent retirement of Robin Earl. Advance Northumberland is Northumberland County Council’s primary regeneration delivery vehicle and employs a wide range of investment, development, and regeneration capabilities to promote economic growth and prosperity within Northumberland.
Steven is a vastly experienced and highly respected Board executive and a skilled and successful leader, well accustomed to operating within development and industrial environments. He possesses a high level of strategic, change management, service delivery, commercial and operational expertise.
His previous roles include amongst others, Chief Operating Officer at the Port of Tyne, Group Managing Director at Able UK, Managing Director at Banks Mining and Managing Director at QE Facilities Ltd. Steven brings a wealth of knowledge as a business leader actively involved in the delivery of projects and initiatives.
